A Post-Wedding Shoot and Holiday Card Photo Session
This adorable couple’s session in Kapolei was my second time photographing Holly and Jeremiah! I first met them for their engagement session last year (you can view that session, HERE). Since then, they got married in Holly’s home state of Michigan and came back to Oahu for some R&R.
We made the MOST of our time together as Holly and Jeremiah planned two parts to their session. Part one was a gorgeous post-wedding shoot (a terminology I prefer over a “trash the dress” session). These newlyweds have such fond memories of Oahu, they wanted some beach photos in their wedding attire!
You really CAN wear your wedding dress more than once!
Holly’s gown was one of the most unique dresses I have every seen. It fit her figure perfectly and all the beading was TO DIE FOR. She looked gorgeous on the beach and stunning at their autumn wedding in the mid-west. That is how you know your dress is a CLASSIC.
Part two of Holly and Jeremiah’s couple’s session was all about getting festive for the holidays (and for their holiday card!). I have to admit, Santa Hats on the beach might be my new favorite look!
I have sent out Holiday cards since before I was even married and I love that tradition. Even if you aren’t a big holiday person, everyone needs an excuse to get in front of the camera once a year, EVERY YEAR. Did you hear what I said?
Everyone should hire a professional photographer at least once a year to document their changing lives and family!
Getting to see my clients over and over again as the years go on is one of my favorite parts of my job. Time absolutely flies! I have wedding clients from years past who have 4 children already. Its absolutely wonderful to be a part of your stories!
