Ayumi and Tony get married with their favorite people in an intimate North Shore wedding!
I was so happy to photograph this beautiful, intimate North Shore wedding day. As a wedding photographer I’ve seen weddings done so many ways. Some couples want the big tent, live band, wait staff, and after party. Other couples opt for an intimate North Shore wedding like Ayumi and Tony did.
I love photographing intimate weddings just as much as the big, over the top affairs!
For their intimate North Shore wedding, Ayumi and Tony chose the house of a dear friend as their venue. This beautiful private estate is located just ten minutes from historic Haliewa, near the Dole Plantation. They created a beautiful ceremony set up for their 16 guests overlooking the gorgeous North Shore waves.
Just because a wedding is small, doesn’t mean you have to skip on all those special details. Ayumi and Tony had customized gifts from Japan for their guests, beautiful Chivari ballroom chairs for their ceremony, a Lei for each guest, and an incredible officiant to perform their ceremony.
After the newlyweds said “I do”, they celebrated their new marriage with cake and a champagne toast. And of course, we took some portraits around the property of the two of them (and their family and friends!). Once the sun set an my time with them was over, Ayumi and Tony ended the evening at a fancy dinner night out at a local restaurant. What a way to get married!
It was a beautiful evening for a lovely couple – one with the most important things at the center: love, friends, cake, and champagne!
