Brianna and Josh’s Elopement on Oahu
Many couples come to Oahu with a sense of adventure and want their elopement photos to reflect how carefree eloping can be. Brianna and Josh planned their Oahu elopement for Makapu’u Beach Park (a favorite Oahu wedding location of mine). On their wedding day I found out a family vacation to Oahu was the perfect excuse to get married while in Paradise.
The east-side of the island is gorgeous, and it can also be very rainy!
Makapu’u Beach Park is on the east-side of Oahu which has all the Jurassic Park vibes. But it is also more overcast and rainy than other parts of the island. Brianna and Josh did not let the rain dampen their spirits. I’m not sure if they even noticed the rain until we stopped shooting!

So, what can you expect from your one hour elopement photography with The Copper Collective?
One hour is enough time for your ceremony, a few family pictures and your couples portraits. I definitely recommend 2 hours if,
a) you want getting ready photos at a nearby location OR
b) you have more than 10 guests OR
c) you want to travel to a second location for even more epic backdrops!
