A beautiful Oahu Wedding Day at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club
This Royal Hawaiian Golf Club Wedding Day is a stunner! I was so excited to help photograph Lisa and Shane’s wedding day! The beautiful thing about Oahu destination weddings, is they bring vendors from all over the world together. I got to shoot this wedding with Svetlana Sauer Photography from Washington.
The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is an epic Oahu Wedding Venue located in Kailu. The venue coordinator let me know its where former President Barak Obama plays golf when he is in town. I can understand why! Having your wedding at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is like getting married inside Jurassic Park, but with the connivence of an indoor (and air conditioned!!) reception space.
Lisa and Shane are a lovely couple and had many friends and family fly in to be at their Royal Hawaiian Golf Club wedding! We got to explore the venue on a golf cart and take photos in some secret places on the property. One of the many perks of being a Royal Hawaiian Golf Club Wedding photographer… a backstage pass!
I love a tropical themed destination wedding, like a lot! But the Jurassic Park mountains at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club speak for themselves, and I really liked Lisa and Shane’s soft and romantic wedding day details. For brides wedding trends are a blast, but for wedding creatives sometimes its nice to take a break from the trends and photograph some classic, “never go out of style” weddings days.
