Elizabeth and Nick’s Babymoon Maternity Session on Kauai!

I know Elizabeth from our days of working out together at The Bar Method in Point Loma. I remember a few years ago when she was getting into shape for her wedding, and now here she is pregnant with a little girl AND about to break 1,000 Bar Method classes. You go, mama!

Vacations are the perfect reason to hire a professional photographer, especially if you’re in Hawaii!

I was so excited to hop on a quick 30 minute flight to Kauai for Elizabeth and Nick’s maternity session. For part one, we played around their resort, The Grand Hyatt Kauai, which is GORGEOUS. We grabbed some drinks, walked around, and there was even some snuggling in a hammock. I love when photos capture more than just portraits, but the actual experience of your trip!

For part two they changed into fancier outfits. After a few shots at the resort, we hopped in the Jeep I rented for the day and headed down the street for some epic sunset photos on lava rock. The light was INCREDIBLE and I was in photographer heaven!

Elizabeth and Nick are currently anticipating the arrival of their baby-girl. Sara from team San Diego will be shooting their newborn photos and I’m so happy 2 of our 3 teams are able to work with this sweet and giggly couple!
