KoOlina Engagement Photos – Oahu Wedding Photographer

I was so excited to photograph Kelly and Johnathan’s engagement photos at Secret Beach in Kapolei. Secret Beach is a hidden gem on Oahu. Its nearby to Paradise Cove Luau, the Lanikuhonua Cultural Center, The Four Seasons, Disney Aulani and more top Oahu wedding venues.

What makes Secret Beach in Kapolei so unique, is its one of the few easily accessible beaches on the island where you can catch an epic sunset over the ocean. Even though Oahu is an island with 360 degree beaches, many people forget that the sun only sets on one side!

These longtime sweethearts are getting married at the Kualoa Ranch this coming April and I can’t wait for their big day.

Kualoa Ranch has a long and beautiful history and is most well-known for being the filming location for many blockbuster movies. As you can imagine the views are incredible. Getting married at Kualoa Ranch means that you are basically getting married inside Jurassic Park. Its a popular choice for locals to Oahu and for destination weddings!

The Kualoa Ranch is also typically overcast which means beautiful even lighting for your photos. On a wedding day, overcast light is amazing because you can photograph in any direction. Its incredible!

I am so looking forward to April 2020 when I get to photograph Kelly at Johnathan at the Kualoa Ranch for their gorgeous wedding day!
